Childhood Best Friends Sign Multi-Unit Agreement with National Coffee Brand
OMAHA, Neb. – (July 2022) – Scooter’s Coffee, LLC, the Midwest-based drive-thru coffee franchise that is experiencing record-breaking growth, is continuing its effort to grow its presence throughout the United States by bringing its world-class drive-thru coffee locations to Golden, and Erie, Colorado.
Scooter’s Coffee, based in Omaha, Nebraska, specializes in artisan espresso drinks, fruit smoothies, baked-from-scratch pastries and features its signature drink, the Caramelicious. The company also recently added depth to its profile with a line of organic hot and iced teas, single-origin coffee and Cold Brew & Cream.
The expansion into the Denver suburbs is the result of a three-unit franchise agreement signed by Nick Pollard and Mike Myers. The two men have been best friends since 3rd grade and have been wanting to go into business together for a while. “Nick mentioned Scooter’s Coffee, we’d seen them popping up everywhere, and we did some research and saw the promise of success with the franchise.”
According to the latest market trends compiled by the National Coffee Association, 60 percent of Americans drank coffee in the past day. That’s more than reported drinking tea, juice, soda, or even tap water! And the number of people who reported buying coffee at a coffee shop or restaurant has risen 20% since January of 2021. The drive-thru coffee model, already popular in our fast-paced society, has boomed during the pandemic, giving customers a way to get a delicious beverage while staying socially distant. Scooter’s Coffee kiosks, with the Brand Promise of “Amazing People, Amazing Drinks… Amazingly Fast! ®” is helping Americans meet that demand.
“Before we signed, I wanted to see how fast and friendly they really were—if what they were preaching was true,” said Mike. “I visited a couple of different locations and was so impressed with the service and the coffee itself. It was fantastic.” Mike says he’s even more impressed now that he’s seen the amount of training the company provides. “I thought, ‘whoa, this training is more intense than I would have imagined for a coffee shop.’ It showed me that Scooter’s Coffee wants to see their franchisees up for success—they want to see their brand succeed.
“Denver and the surrounding area have been a great market for Scooter’s Coffee,” says Kelly Crummer, Scooter’s Coffee Senior Director of Franchise Recruitment. “We are excited to onboard new franchisees and feel Mike Myers and Nick Pollard will be a great addition to our system.”
