Scooter’s Coffee Continues Growing in Texas

Former Nebraska Resident Signs Multi-Unit Franchise Agreement

OMAHA, Neb. – (November 2022) Scooter’s Coffee®, LLC, the Midwest-based drive-thru coffee franchise experiencing record-breaking growth across the U.S., continues to expand by bringing its world-class drive-thru coffee locations to the Copper Canyon, Texas area.

The expansion into this Dallas suburb is the result of a three-unit franchise agreement signed by Matt Bozarth and his mother, Carol. Matt Bozarth is a finance manager for a transportation company, but franchising has been on his mind for a while. “Going back and forth to Nebraska to visit relatives, I became familiar with Scooter’s Coffee,” said Matt. “Looking at the business model and the numbers, I thought it seemed like a smart investment, and my mother agreed.”

Scooter’s Coffee, based in Omaha, Nebraska, specializes in artisan espresso drinks, fruit smoothies, baked-from-scratch pastries and features its signature drink, the CarameliciousÒ. The company also recently added depth to its profile with a line of organic hot and iced teas, single-origin coffee and Cold Brew & Cream.

According to the latest market trends compiled by the National Coffee Association, 60% of Americans drank coffee in the past day. That’s more than reported drinking tea, juice, soda, or even tap water! And the number of people who reported buying coffee at a coffee shop or restaurant has risen 20% since January of 2021. The drive-thru coffee model, already popular in our fast-paced society, has boomed during the pandemic, giving customers a way to get a delicious beverage while staying socially distant. Scooter’s Coffee kiosks, with the brand promise of “Amazing People, Amazing Drinks… Amazingly Fast! ®,” are helping Americans meet that demand.

“Since COVID, there’s always a line at coffee shops, so opening a Scooter’s Coffee kiosk seemed like a great opportunity, especially since their product is superior,” said Matt.

“Texas has been a great area for Scooter’s Coffee,” said Kelly Crummer, Scooter’s Coffee Senior Director of Franchise Recruitment. “We are excited to onboard new franchisees and feel Matt and Carol Bozarth will be a great addition to our system.”
