OMAHA, Neb. – (April 2023) Scooter’s Coffee®, LLC, the Midwest-based drive-thru coffee franchise experiencing record-breaking growth, continues its expansion throughout the U.S. by bringing its world-class drive-thru coffee locations to Winder, Madison, Cornelia, and Bogart, Georgia.

The expansion into Northeast Georgia is the result of a four-unit franchise agreement signed by Jeffrey Bryce Cannon, John Roberts Sr., Reynolds McLean, and John Theus. Theus, who played collegiate football with the Georgia Bulldogs, and professional football with the San Francisco 49ers and the Carolina Panthers will manage the stores. “When Reynolds brought the idea to me, I loved Scooter’s Coffee’s emphasis on delivering a quality product, combined with the speed of the drive-thru kiosk,” said Theus. “It’s something I know we can deliver.”

Scooter’s Coffee, based in Omaha, Nebraska, specializes in artisan espresso drinks, fruit smoothies, baked-from-scratch pastries, and features its signature drink, the CarameliciousÒ. The company also recently added depth to its profile with a line of organic hot and iced teas, single-origin coffee, and Cold Brew & Cream.

According to the latest market trends compiled by the National Coffee Association, 60% of Americans drank coffee in the past day. That’s more than those reported to have been drinking tea, juice, soda, or even tap water! And 28% people reported purchasing coffee at a coffee shop or restaurant in the past day — a number that’s almost back to pre-pandemic levels. The drive-thru coffee model, already popular in our fast-paced society, has boomed during the pandemic, giving customers a way to get a delicious beverage while staying socially distant. Scooter’s Coffee kiosks, with the Brand Promise of “Amazing People, Amazing Drinks… Amazingly Fast! ®” are helping Americans stay caffeinated and safe while providing high-quality products with a smile.

“Right now, our first store, the Winder location, is tentatively scheduled to open in June,” said Theus. “Once we get all four open, and understand the demands of the business, we would definitely be interested in opening more.”

“Georgia shows great promise for Scooter’s Coffee,” said Kelly Crummer, Scooter’s Coffee Senior Director of Franchise Recruitment. “These stores will allow us to increase our brand’s presence in several Northeast Georgia communities and bring awareness to our great products and high-quality customer service.
